Computer Forensics
Progressively, more information at the center of internal corporate investigations, criminal investigations and civil litigations is stored on removable media and computer hard drives. Companies may find their websites or network hacked, people internal to the organization may be commiting crimes or violating policies, or any number of other cyber-crimes.
Computer forensics is the application of computer skills and investigative techniques for the purpose of acquiring evidence, and is the specialty of BDunn & Company.
It involves collecting, examining, preserving and presenting evidence that is stored or transmitted in an electronic format, and, most importantly, following strict procedures to ensure it’s admission into evidence.
BDunn & Company will consult with clients to establish the goals of the engagement and the standards that must be met to ensure the evidence is not compromised. Through oral and written reports, sworn affidavits and expert testimony, BDunn & Company will present a complete analysis in a format that is appropriate to the engagement. |
